Molchan Marine Sciences worked directly with AUSI and TSI in the familiarization of the capabilities and limitations of SAUV. Molchan Marine Sciences then developed use case scenarios for fleets of Solar Autonomous Underwater Vehicles to be utilized by oceanographers, fisheries experts and scientists in Marine Sanctuaries, and Marine Protected Areas and Estuarine Reserves. MMS explored the possibility of real-time data transfer of oceanographic information from sonars and sensors aboard the SAUV. MMS also assisted in recovery of SAUV during an EPA/NUWC data collection project. |
